Really well-laid out article here!  I have often noticed that a site with less # of backlinks ranks higher than one with more.  I&#039;ve always wondered why; you&#039;re educated guess of on-page optimization is probably correct.  I guess a good balance of off-site and on-site optimization is necessary.
