What is RichQuickReview?
NEW: I made this video summarizing what RQR is about.
RichQuickReview is the place online where you will find honest, objective reviews of “get-rich-quick” systems. There are tons of different ebooks, video-courses and membership sites available, all of which claim they will make you rich overnight (more or less, anyway). Are these Internet marketing products any good? Will they really show you how to make money online or is the only person who will be making money online from this deal the person selling the program or ebook? Is this all just a big scam?
Well, unfortunately, while you will find many, many entries by searching for “[product name] review” or “is [product name] a scam?”, none of them will contain valuable information (hint: all of those sites are also selling the product). The truth is, it’s very difficult to find honest, non-sales-pitch Internet marketing product reviews anywhere.
On RichQuickReview, you will find actual reviews.
Isn’t This Just Another Scam?
Nope. You’ll see when you read my reviews.
Also: I’ll be posting information on online marketing, tips, useful resources, links to articles I find especially valuable and much, much more. So even if you distrust my reviews for some reason, there’s still a lot of value for you to get from this site.
And Who The Hell Are You?
I am Shane, resident of Switzerland (yes, it really does exist and actual people live here). I’m an enterpreneur, writer, online marketer and productivity-nut (as you can see, I haven’t really decided what I want to be when I grow up, yet). I am also a notorious tester and reviewer. I don’t know why, but that’s just my thing: I take things apart, scrutinize them, test them and then write about it. I have been doing this for years in different fields (e.g. computer hardware) and now I’m doing it in online marketing.
Update 19. September 2010:
Quite a lot has changed since I started with RQR. While my original intention was to provide mainly reviews of all kinds of different Internet marketing products, the focus has changed and narrowed over time. Since SEO and link-building are my main traffic generation methods, I’m also mainly focusing on testing products in this niche. I also quickly got disappointed with most “how to make money” info products and have basically stopped reviewing any of them (I can make the general recommendation not to buy non-specific MMO info products). I’ve also started creating a whole range of my own products (free and premium) and have been writing more and more about marketing in general.
Of course, I want to make sure that this site will continue to be a valuable source for honest reviews of IM products, but it’s clear that it’s turning into more than just that.
Also: A re-branding of the site might be on the horizon. “RichQuickReview” is supposed to be tounge-in-cheek, but I don’t review “get rich quick” products anymore and the (non-funny) joke is lost on most visitors, I think…
